By downloading, installing, or using Mocklantis ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
2. License
Mocklantis grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may:
- Install and use the Software on any number of devices you own or control

- Create mock APIs and test endpoints for development purposes
3. Minimum Age

4. Restrictions

5. Free Software

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Warranties that the Software will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted

You use the Software at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the Software will meet your requirements or be suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOCKLANTIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Software
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Damages resulting from any bugs, errors, or defects in the Software

8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mocklantis, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Software
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Any content you create, mock APIs you configure, or data you process using the Software
- Any harm or damage caused by your use of the Software
This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Software.
9. Data and Privacy
Mocklantis operates entirely on your local machine:
- All mock configurations and data are stored locally on your machine
- We do not collect telemetry, analytics, or any usage data from the Software
- Mock servers run on localhost (127.0.0.1) and are not accessible from the internet
- You are solely responsible for the content you create using the Software

10. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device and data
- Backing up your mock configurations and data
- Ensuring your use of the Software complies with applicable laws
- Any content you create or endpoints you configure using the Software
- Port conflicts and proper configuration of your local environment
11. Intellectual Property
The Software, including its design, features, functionality, and all content, is owned by Mocklantis and is protected by:
- Copyright laws
- Trademark laws
- Other intellectual property rights
The Mocklantis name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Mocklantis. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
12. Updates and Modifications

Updates may be automatic or require manual installation. Your continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You may terminate this agreement by uninstalling the Software and deleting all copies from your devices. Upon termination, all provisions that should survive (disclaimers, limitations of liability, etc.) will continue to apply.

The Software may allow you to import OpenAPI specifications, use proxy mode to forward requests to third-party APIs, or integrate with external services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mocklantis operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Software will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it will be subject to binding arbitration or litigation in the courts of our jurisdiction.
